Mission Statement

Our mission:

To give voice to those on the inside so that their music can be heard beyond the walls.

To foster a supportive and collaborative musical environment in which inmates can use their “inside voices” to create and share their music.

To provide songwriting instruction to inmates in prison.

When needed, to provide musical instruments for inmates to use to compose and perform their songs.

To record these songs and compile them into albums for release online.

To post their “origin stories” in a Podcast.
